I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Mini 250R
Andy reporting from Minehead:
I have 12 good motors, all new and that. I have two motors with missing circlip though, so if someone has some tiny 3mm circlip, we have 14 motors.
Am away until Sunday night though unfortunately. The motors have 2mm male bullet connectors on them. If that helps.
I'm also about to have an ice cream.

Re: Mini 250R
Mine is built. Mostly. Just need to test it with the radio, then tidy up the wiring. Then it is test flight time, and after the kk settings are all sorted, whack in the fpv gear!

Apart from the FPV gear, mine is now a strip of velcro and two cable ties off of a test flight!

Re: Mini 250R
Just test flown mine in the back garden. A few of these screaming around indoors is going to sound amazing!
The KK default settings are flyable, no need to worry about that first flight being a bit hairy. just bung in a handful of expo, and do the first hops in rate mode, not self level mode. Orientating an all black symmetrical airframe is interesting, especially in the dark with no LED's other than those on the controller...
The flight controller cage screws are made of cheese, and are useless. all four of mine stripped the cross before they were halfway in. And I forsee bearing issues with these multistar motors. Even after about 10 minutes hovering, a couple of my motors are showing signs of bearing wear. probably the shite quality bearings fitted from new, you get what you pay for!
Now I need to add fpv gear, and some colouring to help identify it when flying LOS, a couple of tuning flights, and I'm ready to race.

Re: Mini 250R
Will sort some this lunchtime during the tuning flights.
Would a simple guide to tuning the kk board be of use to anyone?
