I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

I’m pretty new to working with RC in general but i am a little confused with if its possible to just directly power the detrum RXC6 6CH 2.4Ghz receiver I have? Or if i need to buy a specific receiver battery? I’m taking baby steps and just want to make sure i can connect my controller to the receiver.
I currently have my power supply at 4.5V and have just the negative and positive connected to the battery pins on the receiver https://www.dynamrc.com/products/detrum-rxc6-6ch-2-4ghz-mini-receiver. Is this enough to turn it on? Or do i need that S signal connected to smth as well? Because my receiver is just not turning on. I’ve already tested my wiring and its definitely supplying the correct voltage, just not sure if i’m missing something here.
