I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Mini Wot 4 ARTF
with that done you next set is to add a couple of small extension leads into the wings for the Ali servos, theres some string pre installed to help this process
next servos are put in and control rods attached (after gluing the horn into the control surface)
tadaaaa wing all done, less than 20mins after opening the box

Re: Mini Wot 4 ARTF
At long last the mini wot4 has flown.......
Overall it went well. I've got a slight false neutral in the elevater, due I think to a tight hinge, and it's abit nose heavy at present but both are easy fixed when I get a sec.
You can't slow it down to much, as I expected she will bite, but in truth if you forget the modern artf Wots the originals were all like that. So speed must be kept on.
Flat out she's traveling a bit but not to fast, I've seen reports wanting more power but I feel it's a calm day plane and it had ample for everything i could throw at it. Its not a plane for big long verticals!
Rolls were crisp and it loops and stall turns fine. Knife edge was tricky but once the balance is sorted I will revisit that.
The undercart is weak and bent on every landing but the plane is so light your gonna struggle to do any big damage on landing.
All in all quite good.
