I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Global RC 50cc Raven - Assembly Thread - Pic Heavy
Well after a sulk about the Edge, I desided to stop faffing about and build the Raven.
As most of you know I picked this up earlier in the year from Stuart @ Global RC. I got as far as opening the box and that was about it, but this is what I saw.
Anyway today I desided to clear a corner of the workshop and crack on with it, a depper look into the box found a rather comprehensive fitting kit, even including servo extension lead saftey clips, and longer servo arms and a couple of motor mount guides
All bar the rudder is pre hinged and ready for action so thats a fair bit of time saved, also fuel tank is installed and rudder pull pull cables pre done.

Give me chance!
Cowl has an internal mounting ring like some kits costing hundreds more and eveything lined up bang on
Tail stabs are removable and the servo mounts inside them so it will just be a case of unpluging them
Spats are very nice molds and come with captive nuts pre installed ready for a quick fix
So all that was left to do tady was get her on her legs, nice painted glass hundercart, carbon tail wheel assembly and those strange little sero bits that go on the mains

Watch the bung in that tank Mark, the Chinese ones are notorious for being non-petrol tolerant I had trouble with mine in the Edge and I think Nath changed his in the S bach.

Not much done tonight,
Engine on, mounting is bang on the DA drilling guide.
Wheels and spats on
Leads soldered up and placed in ruff position
Hopfully I will get most of the servos in tomorrow
