I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Turbo Raven
Very interesting, look forward to seeing it in the flesh, not sure it would be my cup of tea as it's propulsion system and slow spool up mean the aeros are all high speed big sky stuff. Also noticed it has a large difference in the datum lines of the wing and tailfeathers which usually results in a lot of K/E coupling.
Re: Turbo Raven
Mmmmmmmm turbo goodness. I'm wondering if I would get enough money for a turbo prop by selling Daisy.....

Re: Turbo Raven
Bri your right about spool up and speed of the moves, it dose tend to be flown more like a jet than a prop aerobat, but that sound is to die for.

Re: Turbo Raven
I would, but there is the small matter of selling Daisy first.... And come to think of it, I'm not actually sure I want to sell her. I mean, she was a bit mental last night with her manouevring about the cot in a rather odd fashion, but she is quite cool.....
Hmmm, I need some more work, more work = more money.....

Re: Turbo Raven
It's probably because the original film was made in widescreen format, and Youtube (or barnes) have compressed it widthways to fit a normal 4:3 format. I thought it was just a blatant attempt at making Mr NFJ look slimmer.....
