I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
Did some test chucks with no wind I have to admit I thought what a peice of shine this fooker is, trying too hard giving it a really good shove made it twist & flip over, as Mark has said about 5mph wind a nice gentle push & away it went straight down, a dollop of up trim & right aileron sorted, gained plenty of height, retrimmed for a bit of speed, 15mins later couldn't get it to land had to eventually as it went dark, so far pretty good in the turn not so good in the loop a few more tweeks tonight ready for tommorrow, I'll be there as previously posted about 1300.
Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
Just got back from the Orme, where I managed to grab 15 min on the sticks flying the SR-1. It certainly flies nice! The wind was perhaps a tad strong for it unballasted, but it is certainly very agile and responsive!
Andy (who is wondering what the SR bit stands for?)

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
AH, well spotted. I thought it might have been a bit more subtle than that....

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
I got to play today too, Very impressed!
Its far more manovuable than the wildthings i was flying with, faster across the slope, better speed retension in the turn, awsome roll rate, and exalent stall recovery!
Rich you have done well with it my man, and i stand my my " No 2 Please" Comment
Ive got some vid i will work through and get it up this week somtime

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
I could build it for you, but you would have to agree to my standard terms and conditions:
1. It will be covered in laminating film, whether you like it or not.
2. It may, or may not, be finished by this time next year....
