I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

ZMR 250 FPV Racer
Over the last cople of weeks ive been sourcing the parts for a new build, so will post the build thread here.
So far we have
ZMR250 Racer Glass - Cheep and cheerfull glass quad frame £15-£25 depending on were you buy from I got mine of a random Amazon site for 14.98
CC3D Open Pilot Flight Controler - this is a cheeper version of the original OpenPilot CC3D Lumenier Edition. Bought from www.makeitbuildit.co.uk for £24.50
Emax MT1804 motors and SimonK flashed 12amp ESC from Emax also - Ebay combo buy of 59.00
Props 5030 and bits - 10.00 from www.radioc.co.uk
For FPV camera I will use a Fatshark 600VTL and for VTX on of the very good TS5823 32 Channel 5.8ghz 200mw mini FPV video transmitter Super Mini 7.3g 5.8G 32Ch 200mW VTx`s again from makeitbuildit.co.uk
I went with a glass frame over the prettier looking carbon version as in my experiance the cheep far east "carbon" frames tend to contain very little actual carbon and turn out to be not very strong, they dont seem to skimp on fiberglass though so this should be a much stronger frame for very little weight penalty.
I will build it up over the next couple of days and post some pics as I go

Re: ZMR 250 FPV Racer
wiring was a nightmare
but we got there in the end, all finished and programed.
The kitchen maiden proved the stock PID settings on the CC3d Flight controller to be ok for flight.
further tuning took place this afternoon in the car park.
So far im very impressed with the frame and the flight controller. very simple to use and easy to program.

Looks good that. Apart from the wiring. That tarot 250 looks good from a wiring post of view... I'm keen to have a go though, and see what my perspex copter needs to compare to!

Wiring is an bottom. Need some spacers to make the gap betwen the lower and middle plate deeper so i can put the esc in there off the arms and neaten the wireing up.
Hence them being only taped on at the moment
