I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

Looks nice that Rich. I reckon it would go well with a decent motor up front

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
Well if you are going to fill it full of ballast, you might as well make the ballast do something useful.....

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
Indeed.
I didn't even mention the fact I could be flying it when the wind is not playing ball.....

Re: EPP slope racer now SR-1
Just a thought Rich, but make the fin removable/replaceable. It's hard to tell for sure, but I reckon it might need a bit more fin area to be stable in Yaw. You'll be able to tell when flying it, because it will wobble a bit about the Yaw axis if it needs more fin area. It depends how you like your CG position on wings though, if you put the CG back a bit, it will effectively increase the fin area anyway....

Your ability to make things sound less exiting is incredable

Just build one and throw it, job done

Getting it neat around the integrated mobile phone holder might be a bit tricky though... Nothing a bit of laminating film can't sort ou tthough
