Tyldesley MFC Round of Funfly 20.3.16

Ladies and gentlemen.

A date has been set for the interclub comp at Tyldesley mfc. It will take place on the 20th of march, the comp will start with Roop ( airborne start ) going into the egg drop ( so make sure you've got a means of dropping an egg with a streamer attached ), then into the well put off Limbo ( the gate will be made to fit a double decker bus through to give the old timers a chance).

There will be certificates for the winners and a BBQ for all.

Start will be at the 11th hour but flying for 9 am ( electric only) for the ones who wish to warm up.

A weather call will be made a couple of days before.

Remember that events at Tyldesley Mfc will be Egg Drop, Roops and the Limbo. For reference, eggs should have a short streamer and be dropped from around 150 ft, trust me on the streamer please.....A Roop is one roll followed by one loop and the combo scores one point, but only if the roll is horizontal and the loop is a normal vertical loop (ref bmfa rules). The Limbo will be most passes in two minutes and the gate is rather large and friendly. FunFly type models or worse please. Directions etc. nearer the time. BBQ will be a freebie. Bring your own drugs! Err Beer, i meant Beer. Oh and I have prizes of sorts..... Ladies welcome.... our caravan needs cleaning..... oh and we should have a toilet on site by then. Flying after the comps will carry on until dark. See you then.

Flying comp starts at 10am flying can start from 9. Im planning on leaving at 8.00 to be there for 9.30ish happy to convoy if required.

Should add that they hope to have the comp wraped up by 1-2 pm them free flying till dusk. So pack for general flying too.

Not sure yet Barnes, I may already be over at my Mum's in Northwich on Saturday night, so I might drive up from there. There will have to be some Epic charge planning for the milk float to get there and back mind....

as you aproach you are greated by some big ass gates to a car scrap yard, you go through these and keep left down the side of the yard once through the scrappy you are greated by the TMFC pitts.

Hi all, we will be kicking off at around 10.00am wigan time on sunday. This post code will get you to the land owners large, silver gates ( M29 7LN). There will be a Tyldesley mfc sign on them, if it doesn't get stollen. Ring 07564185518 or 07969460032 and we will dispatch a member to let you through the locked gate. Please keep to the left and follow your nose, thus will bring you to the mown car park. Park responsible as we don't particularly have a big car park. Any problems give either of the above numbers a call with is myself and Mr ellison mobile numbers. Bring your own eggs

As for numbers I get to 3 so far, dont know about Jem, Chris, Pete, Roy or anyone else.

More the merrier there will be at least 4 hours of off the peg "normal" flying post comp as well

They have even bought a new BBQ!

I hear they have some FPV race gates and a course for FPVing too....
