inter club funfly shield 13th Sept 2015 @RDMFC

13th Sept sees the rematch in the interclub funfly champs where RDMFC host TMFC, Newport MFC, Sleap MFC and a team of pylon racers.

The event will be based on some of the club events we have all enjoyed so much so theres no excuse for anyone not to have ago. Lets put on a welcoming busy event to show how good RDMFC are.

3 rounds to be flown and normal flying can take place betwen rounds and post comp. (We were all done by 2pm last time)

Quick reminder to that any member is welcome to come and take part in the flying and have a laugh there will also be plenty of time for normal club flying betwen rounds and post comp ( the sleap mfc leg was all done by 2pm)

Anyone free to help with scoring and maths or bbq help much apreciated.

Next leg will be early next year at TMFC in manchester great club and great day out so lets set the bar high for them.

Prizes are also welcome as i fogot to get some.

Well what a great day that turned out to be - home now tired and sunburned! Great to see a couple of comp newbies 'avin a go - and enjoying it too - well done to Pete Squire and Andy Kaz. RDMFC did pretty well overall with Jem being the best of us on this occasion, and Barnesy and my self pretty much tying for 2nd spot overall. TMFC once again showed us all how to do it with most entrants using the quick, light, nimble Fusion 2 on powerful electric setups.
Thanks to all who attended, especially Mark for being CD and thank Gawd Richie finally arrived with the BBQ - get well soon mate
Next round ( prob in the new year ) will be at Tyldsley club - looking forward to it already.

it was a fantastic day, best day we've had down the strip. had a great laugh and looking forward to the next rounds. more practice needed as trying to catch a jive with one's foot wasn't quite the plan. lol.

Superb day absolutly supurb.

The RDMFC field was filled with laughs and fun compitition. Great to see it so busy.

12 pilots battled it out over 3 rounds of fast frantic fun fly action. Well done to Jem for taking the club honours and to Pete and Andy R for manning up and having ago they certainly did well for there first crack at comp flying. As tim says we were level in the overall results.

Talk of the next leg being in Dec at tyldesley so will keep you all informed.

Thanks also to rich for getting off his death bed to bring the BBQ and Roy for cooking and Andy Roberts for the prize. And all other RDMFC members that turned up to support the boys.
