I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Orme gliding Insurance
Andy,
At present we don't do any kind of monthly payment method.
I do like the idea of that paying by direct debit, although I think it would open up a minefield of problems, think of the BMFA insurance who would pay the members insurance, currently the BMFA only take up front payment for the insurance, we barely receive enough money in fees to cover the insurance & field rent, let alone waiting for the money to roll in, maybe worth me talking to the BMFA about it.
So while on insurance here’s a link to a brief overview of what the insurance is intended for.
http://bmfa.org/Info/Articles/Know-your-insurance
A quote from the article,
“If there is a dispute between the third party solicitors and the insurers on a settlement, then it will be referred to a civil court who will make the decision on where the legal liability for the incident rests, this is an important point as you need to be clear that we are talking about legal liability as defined under UK law.”
