I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Tuesday night gliding club
Now that Llysfaen has ended, a few have suggested we do a meet at the Orme on Tuesday evenings for a few hours glidery action. Tomorrow forecast is light winds but the right direction WSW, and no rain so would be nice for the lighter, or electron assisted stuff.
Stick a post up here if anyone fancies it...... Ill almost certainly be going as yesterdays PSS meeting reminded me just how much fun we always have up there.

Re: Tuesday night gliding club
You didn't miss much, the wind was E'ly and very light, me and Tim waited a while to see if it would swing round to the N or W but eventually we had a look at the Ski slope side joined by Brent but it was all very light so it was a wash out.

Re: Tuesday night gliding club
I only have the A Cert so I guess I'm still a newbee.
I didn't realise there were records for the DLG in the Club until Jem shouted that the way the flight I on was going I could break the record of 10 mins. At that stage I had been up about 7 or 8 mins but I started the timer anyway and the timer said 22:14 mins when I landed so my total time was in the ballpark of 29 minutes.
The Akcent 2 is going like a dream now, I love this model!
Also had a play with my Garnet but at the moment I can't get any times out of it.
Tim & Jem both had a play with the Akcent and seemed to enjo it.
