I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Hammer
Nice. Is that a sheet of lead in the fuselage, above the battery? What motor/ESC/pack/Prop is being used, and what are the power readings?

Re: Hammer
Motor Emax 2810/12 1100Kv
Lipo Overlander 2200 3S
ESC Plush 60A
Prop 10x6 (11x6 and 10x7 on standby)
No idea of power readings and I'm not sure if he has gear to read it, but apparently pull is up in static test - maiden will be today if weather permits.
Not sure about the lump of metal above the battery - but he will call me tonight so I will ask him

Re: Hammer
No problem Andy
I nag him about some video, if he does it and you don't mind my spamming here I will leave a link.
PS. this is his first glider ever as he flies rather 3D stuff - so should be interesting to see how he copes

Re: Hammer
It's not spamming. Spamming would be something no-one is interested in, like cheese rolling. Although, I'm actually quite interested in cheese rolling....

Re: Hammer
Tell whoever flies that model to set the brake up properly on the escape, so the prop folds properly! Looks good though,:-)

Re: Hammer
Esc brake is sorted now, he didn't have the card.
He had a few flights, this one was the last one, after "landing" one of the wing bolts had snapped.
Didn't think to be honest that Hamm will fly like that - it may not be the competition glider but it is certainly great all-rounder - I think that I have no other choice now that to fit a motor in mine ...
