Weston Park 2016

Afternoon all,

Just in case you hadn't realised, in 4 weeks time the Weston park model airshow is taking place, at, er, Weston Park in Staffordshire. It's a Friday, Saturday and Sunday affair, with some top class flying of all sorts of aircraft going on pretty much all day. I think this year there are 3 flight lines, the normal show line, a helicopter line and an FPV racing course too. RAF Cosford is also only a few miles down the road (and the Cosford full size airshow is on on the sunday too!)

If the weather is not consisting of snow, hail, thunder sand gale force winds, I'll be heading down on Thursday afternoon, and staying until Sunday evening. possibly Monday morning if the weather is nice.

Anyone else planning on going? I'll be tenting there, and taking "sufficient" beer too. And I should probably continue the "buy it, build it, fly it, crash it" tradition, whilst there too...

If tim is staying in a posh hotel, we have a volunteer to do the beer run from the shops in Telford if needed!

What a fantastic show this year. Me and the mrs had an amzing weekend. A great laugh with the rdmfc tribe. Looking forward to the next one.

Blooming marvellous show that was. Far too much going on for one weekend, and I learnt that just nipping to the beer tent for 1 quick drink, is not a good idea....

Loads of damn cool models, great flying, and a good turnout of rdmfc members too!

I did see the sticker Tim! Not sure how you got hold of one though, they are strictly limited edition....
