I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

I'll be there. Going either late Thursday night or more likely Friday morning. I'll be camping it up, provided I get my tent sorted in time.

Are we having a RDMFC club camp area? I'll bring the cider....

For those going Saturday for the day its worth noting that there is a full night flying program of both full size and RC on Saturday night, it really is somthing quite spectacular to watch.

What a weekend. Had a fantastic time great company great flying all weekend. By far the biggest and best show in the UK.

Yep, first time I've seen the Helifest. Wandered over there and couldn't believe the trade stands from Midland Helis and Fast Lad. Shame about the weather early on Saturday but it brightened up later. Bit disappointed with the other trade stands, couldn't find an A123 battery anywhere!! Laughing

What a mental weekend! It's also a world first for me. The traditional Weston Park build commenced on friday afternoon, continued on and off through friday evening, and saturday, and culminated in a couple of successful test flights at about 1.30am in the morning on sunday. It was a Hexacopter, and it came back in one piece!

The standard of flying this year was veeery good, highlights for me were the pulsejet deltas, the full size Pitts display, the Fox glider, and the cider in the beer tent.

Mike, try electricwingman, he stocks A123 packs. Tell him I sent you....
