Good afternoon down the field lots going on as normal.

Dad flew fixed wing fpv which was cool. Alan maidened his new model which was nice and will hopfuly not try and kill me next time its out

A very exciting maiden flight!! CG too far back (exactly correct according to the plan). Needs some RH side thrust as well. Drifted a long way left on takeoff - towards where Mark was standing to take pics... Then followed a very pitchy and horrid couple of circuits

Model is a 1/4 scale Aeronca Champ from an old Precedent Models kit. Started a few years ago but had to put it to one side as it was taking too long. The kit itself is not very scale so will not go too far with detailing but will put on some panel lines, an instrument panel and see about a rubber dolly for the cockpit
