I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Great afternoon. Gave the Glens Extra 300 it's maiden flight. Lost an aileron due to losing a locknut on the linkage. Second flight all OK. Roll on the next dry day!!

Set up a Bavarian Demon Cortex in the S Bach, first impressions are good probably needs a little fine tuning on the gains
Re: saturday 8.8.15

Just read several good reviews on the Cortex so jumped that way to be honest reading the specs on both they're very similar both in specs and claimed performance and both can be tweaked on a PC

Don't know really Rich, lots of the jet jockeys are using them, it would be a great cheat tool for IMAC holding lines is a doddle
Re: saturday 8.8.15
It's a very small unit and it would be easily secreted away, you would however have to create a longer wiring harness than the ones supplied to stash it away from sight
Re: saturday 8.8.15
Alot of the show guys use the igyro from pb. I also had a long brief with andy ellison on his at tmfc a few weekes ago very clever systems

Re: saturday 8.8.15
Another give away certainly with the Cortex is that when you power up the model you have to leave the model stationary on the ground and don't give any inputs on the tranny while the giro initiates itself once it has all the servos give a couple of blips and you're good to go. The unit itself does have to be mounted centrally in the model somewhere close to the C/G but not necessarily right on it.
