I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Saturday 2.7.11
The standard of parking by some flyers at the field today was abysmal and the main culprits have been given first verbal warnings, to be honest some of the excuses given were nothing but bullshit
On a brighter not Gary Gilmore maidened this nice electric Sukhoi, I've no details but I'm sure Gary will fill in some details for us.

Haha,like it Bri.
Anything to mess with Richie's karma.
Also as an added bonus have you ever seen such precision as the guy in the White car left the field. He missed all the brown ones.
Congratulations Marty and Tom,and comiserations to Tim as he lost the old ball and chain today. No more comedy duo.
Danny.

Quality bit of driving that Danny shame you forgot to close the gate after you went through it though
Re: Saturday 2.7.11
I'd like to say thankyou to Rich & Mark for the double gestapo act and Tim for his patience and instruction (nagging) which all culminated in my succsessful passing of my A Cert. Also, thanks to the rest of the guys who politely looked the other way while I was being tested.
I'm staying in the shade today coz the Sun was a little fiercer than I realised yesterday .... say no more!
On a closing note, I think that the ST Discovery was a smart model to buy to take the test with, it has enough proformance to be interesting but is fogiving and stable. I would recomend this model to anyone who is about to take up model flying. In addition, Rich had a flight and proformed some scale like acrobatics with it (very nice to watch Rich), so there you have it!
Thanks to one and all.
Marty
