I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

4th June Club Night
Morning all.
We've decided to run a bit of an informal competition on the next club night (June the 4th).no It shall be a Limbo competition.
There shall be no restriction on what models can be flown in the competition, helicopters, multirotors, fixed wing, gliders, anything! The rules are simple:
Oh, and a successful limbo pass shall be one that passes under the ribbon (and does not break it, or pass above it!). The passes will only count going in one direction that shall be determined by the wind direction on the day. (so you will either need to do a pass and then a circuit, or a loop to come back under the tape from the same direction). Touching the floor on a limbo pass voids that pass too.
Bonus points will be available for the most entertaining flight of the evening...

There shall be no restriction on what models can be flown in the competition, helicopters, multirotors, fixed wing, gliders, anything! The rules are simple:
- There shall be a limbo ribbon strung across the strip, at around 6 feet above the ground.
- Pilots shall fly one at a time, and they shall take off, and when ready they shall start their limbo attempts by shouting "GO!"
- When Go is shouted, a 2 minute timer shall begin.
- The number of successful passes under the tape shall be counted within the 2 minute period by an officially appointed judge.
- whomever gets the most successful passes, wins.

Possibly, yes. We shall be running the limbo competition from about 6-6.30pm, but I'm sure there will be plenty of gaps for flying other stuff. Are you going to have a go at the Limbo with your 250?

Morning. What a cracking evening's flying. And crashing. Thanks for everyone that came and had a go at the limbo competition. Here's the official results:
1st. Tim - 10 passes.
2nd. Mark - 9 passes.
3rd. Jem - 8 passes.
4th. Andy S - 7 passes.
5th. Pete - 5 passes.
6th Zaid, and Rich - 2 passes.
8th. Allan - 1 pass.
There's a special award for most entertaining flight of the night, and that goes to Alan.
Oh, and there's another special prize for the best cuddle of the night, and that goes to Tim when he hid behind me during Alan's final limbo attempt.
