I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Yup - just had a call confirming that.
Collapsed and died last night after gigging with his band on the drums :-( :-(

yep more sad news, for thouse that may not know, Ray visited the club many times over the years tipicly for the aerotow events as he was a keen glider pilot. He also took many of our longer served members for the Achivment certs.

You may have also read his glider articles in the monthly BMFA News.
