I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Winter build.
Thought you guys might be interested in a little something I've been designing and building recently.
The wingspan is about 6.5metres, with a length of 2.8metres. Construction is sliced, dried tree, with concrete ballast to get the right centre of gravity. Currently it is covered in rubber on the flying surface, and tyvek on the structural supports. Eventually the structural support will be clad in more sliced dried tree though.
Enjoy!
Day 1 of the build:
More inna bit!

And day 4. We suffered camera issues halfway through the day, mainly because some of forgot to empty the memory card in the morning!
Construction is currently paused until I can get some more time off work.

There used to be a saw mill in Bodelwyddan called Maxwells not sure if it's still there, about a mile from hospital going east there's a turning on right before Pengwern Hall the road used to link to the old A55 just after the east bound slip road from St Asaph Business Park now closed off.

Smashing, I'll look into them!
I've found a couple of places over the border (quite a way over the border!) that can supply what I want, but the delivery charges are astronomical!
Cheers
