Llanerch Hall Display (Attendance Register)

The Llanerch Hall Show is this Sunday 19th August.

We need members to attend-display-fly-chat & assist with the running of our stall.

Those who are able to attend should list their name, models & how long they can stay.

Quote the previous post then put your name what models/equipment you will bring & how long you can stay at the event.

Just a quick reminder names for those attending are required in advance for the gate keepers, no names in advance no entry to unload on the day.

Not quite sure Brian, I'm sure you will be able to walk back in, if you are going put your name on the last quote, if you come along & can't get back I'm sure you'll be able to pick models up after, I would imagine moving vehicles at a Country Fair would be a No for H&S reasons.

Steve Price - Vario 205 turbine powered helicopter, also Vario Long Ranger ic helicopter, and Rainbow Autogiro and Twirl Autogiro, I will be staying all day unless I get a call out but hopefully not on a Sunday.

Tim - there for the duration, James Bond (Octopussy ) Bede BD5 EDF. F18C EDF, Spitfire, electraglide, Weasal - if theres any towing.

Ben - Funfly, Hawk wing, and slipstream! - There for the morning only now, sorry!

Hope to get there tomorrow to cut the strip but if I can't get out and back in I'll be giving it a miss on the day.

Brian,

Just a quick question, do you know where to cut, how big, who have you contacted to go to Llanerch Hall.

We would prefer if the cutting was done Saturday afternoon when some of the committee will be there with you.

I've had no contact with anyone at Llannerch at all, what makes you think I have ?

I've just had a call from Tony (one of the organisers) asking how were getting on.

I've advised we will be down Saturday afternoon to sort out the strip and were we will be setting up tents and pitts etc etc.

I have also arranged to meet Tony there Friday evening for a quick look at the field to asses what we will need to bring/do on Saturday so we don't catch a cold. I will be there aprox 6pm if anyone want to join me to help with the plan of attack.

Ive no idea what condition the "flying" field is in all I know is it was cut a fortnight ago how short i do not know

The fact that you posted last night you were going to cut the strip today, I assumed you meant the Llanerch Hall strip as it was in the Llanerch Hall thread, if you meant the club strip forgive me for making the incorrect assumption.

Can I stil unload the car at midday? Or could somebody take my models in for me in the morning if I gave them to them in advance?

We are waiting on the weather for tomorrow, it's looking like being fairly dry in the afternoon.

I am working most of tomorrow so it will more than likely be later in the afternoon.

Will call you Brian to give you plenty of notice, when we know for certain the time.

We are having a discussion tomorrow to try to allow members to come and go as and when necessary

10am the show starts.

Breakfast in the Wistlestop cafe Rhuddlan 8am

Set up at the field from 8.45am

*FLIERS ONLY* We can enter the flying field through the "NO ENTRY" exit, directions on the map below. If arriving after 10am use extreme caution as this route crosses the end of our flying field.

Hug the fence line all the way round and beware of on coming traffic, DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS THE FIELD

Please be carfull to ensure you are not followed by Joe public into this entrance it is STRICTLY FLIERS ONLY and has no access to the main show field

I will be there in the morning but cant stay all day. So I assume when I leave i will be able to drive around the edge of the field then out of the same entrance where the no entry sign is!

So where will the club stall etc be and also are we still having a static display?

Again, if we are not "flying" just display and chatting, are we all parking on the field? Presume as Steve asked, we can leave as and when by driving back around the field then??
