I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I know John Barrows was asked to take his Lancaster. He did on Saturday but it got damaged overnight when a gust of wind blew his gazebo and Lanc. over. We took it back home Sunday morning, not badly damaged though,

Shame the club wasn't informed, sure we could have taken some more stuff down.

Yep John was there, surrounded by loads of interested enthusiasts all day.
Pity about the damage overnight from the wind gust catching the Gazebo.
Just slight tailplane damage....repairable

Rhyl Airshow
Went on Saturday & very good for a free airshow. Liked the 'Reds' , good picture opportunities & the Valley display hawk was really colourful -- I think they should adopt the scheme for the 'Reds' .The Extra was very good & with a gut wrenching display ! I was surprised at how good the RV-8 pair were too. The 22 squadron helicopter / lifeboat display was good as it was close in & people could see what was going on - question is who was the pilot ? was it or wasn't it ???
Overall very good show but the pair of 'Tonkas' were the highlight .... can't beat lots of noise & fast jets scooting about with their arms folded behind their backs! I am sorry I missed the KC-135 on the Sunday !
