I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

What aerobatic slope model?
Since there is a gap in my growing collection of slope models I thought I'd ask you lot your thought.
I need a aerobatic for fun in winds up to maybe 40 mph. about a 60" wingspan.
Was kinda hankering after a Yak type, I'd like le Fish but don't want to deal with Jack at LEG.
So, whaddya recon?

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
The Le Fish is the best aerobat ive ever flown and killed on a slope, simple as that.
Other options will be a woodie like the madslide (over 300notes when you can find um) or the glass Wasabi like Bri has.
Or go fully mad with somthing like the Vector or similar for big slope areo's

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
Yeah The le fish is coolio, theres a couple that are flown up the Orme and I'm inpressed but like I say, Jack is such a arragant So & so!
I don't wanna spend loads on it coz it'll end up trashed ...... A faom model would be ideal.

Why not ask a friendly man with a CAD machine and cutter to cut you a "Le copied Fish?"

Or, if you want a custom designed "MartyFish" model, just let me know the span you are after and link to what you want to copy, and I'll do a custom design for you, one that you can give to a friendly man with a CNC hotwire cutter to cut for you...... Cheap rates for mates

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
I hought he sold them on to another supplier, don't know which one though
Re: What aerobatic slope model?
I have an old phase 6 you can play about with to get you used to flying models that break when they hit the deck, you can take it away when it's trashed I'll have the servos back
Re: What aerobatic slope model?
Thats a very gracious offer Rich, Very tempting ..... I had a SAS Schitzo and was doing well with it but foolishly handed the sticks to someone else to watch it get trashed! Hence the Thread.

Oi Badham.
Surprisingly, in the 4 years I had the Schizo, I flew it a lot in the early days, and never bent it once.
I sell it to that mad biker a couple of weeks ago, and after flying it himself maybe...ooo errr lets see - about twice, he hands it to someone who hasnt even mastered rolling a wildthing
I was flying my Hawk at the time when I overheard the prompt from Marty to a certain RICHARD
... "go on try a roll with it "
There was only ever gonna be one outcome.

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
Yeah your right Tim apart from the amount of times I flew the Schitzo .... Anyway, How was I to know he hadn't even rolled the WT? you only been teaching him for a year!

Perhaps it's the teacher that lacks the confidence in the students ability
A certain Richard wasn't me either

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
I honestly thought he only had trouble with his landings! (which I wasn't intending to let him attemp). Surely after all this time he must have tried to be a little adventurous (intentionally) lol As you say Tim, he has full marks for tenacity! And no Rich we ain't meaning you! lol
Re: What aerobatic slope model?
Rolling a Widthing's easy, just pop it under the wheels of the car and away you go

Re: What aerobatic slope model?
I find it the best way of straightening the WT out after combat on the Orme
