I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Right, 3pm weather report from my desk in St Asaph, looking out towards Rhyl and the Field.
It is currently quite warm, definitely shorts weather for me, about 5/8 cloud cover and no sign of rain. Wind is currently about 10-12mph westerly, and has been reducing in speed all day. The Metoffice rain radar is not showing anything heading our way too, so it is looking alright for this evening I would say at the moment...

Last weather update from me, I'm off home then to the field. The weather is pretty much the same as before, perhaps a little less windy, and a tiny bit more cloud. Still no rain though

You didn't miss much. I stayed at the field for a bit, but came home as the rain didn't look like stopping. As much as I like sitting in a field in the rain, it can't compare to being chased around the living room by a little limpet that giggles her head off....
