I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

LOL raining in Rhyl, maybe it's on the way then.
Was thinking more of the field being wet underfoot

Nice to see a few members out in the field this evening, even though the weather wasn't fantastic..
and nice to see Mr Sayle living up to his tradition of wearing shorts in the cold...lol.

Re: May club night
Great night lots of laughter and even a now tradition field build thanks to Andy S and his new monsteroter.
Great barby shame some of the regulars were missing bit windy but flying until 9.30 so not all bad

Re: May club night
Corking! Was a bit nippy, I nearly had to put a coat on, as well as my jumper and shorts!
The monsterotor flew after a a few attempts. I was not having a good day to be honest, after soldering on two battery connectors the wrong way round, and then wiring up the escs the wrong way round, twice. Apparently getting the escs the wrong way round, turns a multirotor into a poor imitation of The Mole off of the Thunderbirds.
No damage though and, third time lucky, it flew. Gains are a mile out, but it wasn't tooo bad. Next job is to sort the payload tray and undercrackers out....
