I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Aerotow Sunday 14th
A very successful day for the club, well attended despite clashes with other events and as usual the weather being none too kind. Here's three photos to give a flavour of the day, plenty more to follow

A few more photos, as can be seen from one we had a couple of cases of our magnetic trees grabbing models mid-flight

Re: Aerotow Sunday 14th
I think the highlight of the day was Andy's black delta type thingy hitting the deck flat out, either blowback or brown out was the cause or maybe even lost orientation
Re: Aerotow Sunday 14th
I had a great day out, some rather awesome rocket powered delta stuff off the deck, and a ratehr impressive delta into the deck. At the time I had no idea what the issue was, but on further inspection this morning, I can get the receiver to lock out on me by randomly moving the rx aerial about. So, despite the AR500 rx telling me there had been no problems with the signal received, it is likely that a loss of signal was the issue. Of course, that could have been caused by the impact, but I guess I'll never know for sure.
