I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Yet another new model ready for a maiden.
After realising I couldnt really get both 50cc models in the car at the same time I desided I needed another small model, So at Weston I picked up on of these.
`tupawere servos
Thumper 4260 motor
80amp Opto ESC
6s 2600mah Lipos
14x7 prop
Specki AR6200 rx
All charged and ready to rock this afternoon if the wind drops off

Re: 55" Extra 260
Well after 2 trips to the field yesterday I managed 8 filghts on the Extra.
The plane flies very well, the power on tap is awsome (if alittle to much at times) Im getting about 6 mins per flight leaving 40% ish in the 6s 2600mah packs so duration shouldnt be a problem.
I need to play around abit more on the throws as the Ali is just wild quick point rolls look great when you get it right but horrid when I time it wrong so need to smooth that out abit, Ele is great and it settles into a harrier quite nicely.
Hopfully back out tonight to finalise set up and do abit more IMAC practise.

Re: 55" Extra 260
I'm half tempted to dive out of work at lunchtime, and make some noise with my chopper.....
And what did you forget on your first trip to the field to warrant a second visit? Wing joiner? Battery?
