I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Balsa Kits
Been looking round for pre cut balsa kits but dont seem to be able to find that many around anymore - most seem to be EP RTF kits or ARTF kits, with only one or two traditional balsa kits scattered around the place.
Anyone point me in the diirection of some decent balsa kit suppliers please? (If there are any left!)
Cheers all!

Re: Balsa Kits
Actually looked at some Chris Foss stuff Tim - trouble is the most of the IC kits seem to have ready built foam vaneer wings. Im looking for more of a "box of wood" type kit!

That would get my vote to, Slec/My hobbystore have a huge range of plans and CNC kits to choose from

Re: Balsa Kits
All flair kits up to 1/4 scale are available to order from balsa cabin.
Some other shops have stocks of odd ones e.g. Steve Webb's have Fokker DR1.
Supply is limited simply because demand exceeds capacity.
All Ben Buckle kits and plans still available mail order.

Re: Balsa Kits
What is this dried sliced tree that you speak of? You mean planes are made from it? That'll never catch on.....
Bruce Tharpe Engineering in the States makes some veeery nice dried sliced tree kits. shipping is a tad pricey, but the kits are very comprehensive indeed. Not a lot of choice kit wise though...
