I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

The morning went well and thanks to Rich the grass is cut and ready for the roller.
To windy to fly but we all had a good chat and a look at Zaid`s new Huey now nicknamed "Herbert" which looks well in its camoflage scheme.

Richie's grass cutting inspired me I came home and gave my Extra it's once a year service ready for all the practice that lies ahead. Drained the tank whipped out the clunk and gave it a once over cycled my ignition pack and checked the lipos which are still well charged after total neglect since October, can't be bad. So next time the wind subsides I'll be down there and blow away some grass clippings Wink and cobwebs Rolling Eyes

I dropped by the field on Saturday morning to say hello! SWMBO nicked the car, so I had to make the trip on my push bike, how's that for dedication!

I think all the strip needs now, is a decent rolling, and some sand ready for when it dries out and starts cracking up again Smile

Cheers
