I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Sunday March 15
Nice to see some many new faces at the field, I'm sure Zaidy took some photo's, he may post them after his boll**ing from his missus for being home late.
Brilliant day best so far this year.
Unbelievable duration from Dave Moran's electric trainer, the model came into it's own once the breeze dropped off to nothing, it has to be said he did very well for his first & second flight of the year.
I'm sure if the weather stays dry for some time it will be drive onto the field from now on.
Will the committee confirm the above.

Re: Sunday March 15
Well guys, its been a great day, turned up at 10.15, thinking I would be the first in !! but Colin beat me to it and another Colin arrived at the same time as myself (sorry don't remember the surnames)
Well Rich is correct, I got a bit of an ear bashing as I was very late for Sunday dinner. 'no pudding for me tonight !'
What a turn out, and every body enjoyed them selves.
I would like to thank all of you who made Vaughan fell very welcome, he enjoyed him self a great deal (the best days flying he has ever had) his words not mine. So thanks guys
Now I have seen it all, Some really nice models were at the field, the best looking ones are
The model NOT the pilot !
Rich's
Brian's
Mine
Roy's Trex 600, with Dave S legs !!!!
Mark's new 3D
Thanks to Mark for baby sitting me on durning my fixed wing flights..
I had to land it on a dead stick !! which was great fun, soooo much time in your hand to recover !!
Sorry Jeremy the competition for the best looking model was very tough, yours didn't make it
Dave like to get very close to the models, SO close that guys found it very difficult to land
OK guys, off to get some rest as I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow, weather permitting Will be flying tomorrow
All the best
Zaidy

Re: Sunday March 15
Found out on returning home Sunday evening that Tim Mackey had lost his Jart to a mid-air on the Orme however it looks likely that a set of replacement wings and a lot of repair work will see it arise like the Phoenix from the ashes
