I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

As Rich says - no bearings on the FP, its bronze bushes instead - but crank shaft is now as smooth as a babys bum! Turns over beautifully!

The whole model was only a Tenner Rich anyway, so not really expecting anything fantastic to fly, just going to tidy it up a bit, re-cover it, probably get rid of the elastic band wing attatchment system and see what it does - it will probably be a bit of a pig to fly, but just looking forward to doing it up really!

Keep it as light as you can, now I see it's a trainer I would leave the bands on for now.

You can modify it when you have to repair it.

Yep, its the one from the wing attatchment post! Still not 100% sure what to do with the wings actually, it might be more hastle than its worth really - we will see!

As for making it as light as I can - there was half a church roof attached to the front end just behind the engine (about 300g) which has me very worried about C of G issues!
