I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Contary to popular opinion, me and Tim are NOT a double act! (that must have been so funny last night for so many people to pass comment), PMSL.
Been ringing round but everywhere seems to be sold out! Grrrrrr anyone any ideas?

The Funcub will get blown about a bit in wind, whereas something like the mentor would cope with pretty much anything that the field could throw at it. Of course, if it is be transported in that coffin on his bike, it might make sense to go for the smaller one Smile

Is that the low wing Andy?

Nah, the Mentor (the Multiplex Mentor that is) is a High wing model. It is very similar to the Mini-Mag, but a fair bit bigger. It will be able to handle a bit more wind, but be much more stable than a low winger. When you get used to it, they can be thrown around the sky quite nicely, and with a decent amount of power on them, can be ued for aerotowing too.

Actually Rich, this is bang on topic as it's a direct result of what happend at the "field" on "Sunday 8th Aug" which is the title of the thread. If you or anyone else takes exception to it have the offending posts deleted, it's no biggie.

Blimey Mike, you must have been lying on the ground to get the camera angle on the SU26 shot! It was miles away from the Hedge. At least, it was from where I was standing Smile

If it is not too much trouble, would you mind emailing me a couple of high resolution shots of the Sukhoi? I could do with a new backdrop to my PC....
