I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Next weekend ?
Probably not going to be popular asking this but are there to be any restrictions on flying at the field next weekend ie 7/8th. I ask because last year we did so expecting the field to be overflown by full size stuff approaching for the Rhyl Airshow, which in the event the restrictions were not necessary with several of us sat at the field observing and waiting to fly
Re: Next weekend ?
If the flight plans are the same as last year should be no probs. But, the committee should have everthing in hand and will advise the members I should think.

Re: Next weekend ?
Hi folks,
We are not enforcing a formal no fly period over the weekend of the airshow. However, I would like to remind people to be extra vigilent if flying at the field over the weekend. I would recommend that no-one flies on their own, but instead has a spotter to keep an eye out for full size aeroplanes that may come close to the field.
I would also recommend that you don't try to set any altitude records over the weekend, and instead stick to a sensible altitude that will allow you to descent below the height any full size is likely to appear at, quickly.
Just common sense really
Cheers
