Lost My Vector

I lost my Vector this afternoon on the Orme Jem was flying his Wildthing when we very suddenly enveloped in low cloud/sea mist and I completely lost sight of the Vector I yelled a couple of times to Jem thinking two pair of eyes are better than one but obviously he was busy with his model, he landed quickly and in the meantime I was busy looking around for the Vector, just as Jem landed after what seemed like a lifetime we both spotted the Vector falling in a spin just in front of the slope. I quickly regained control and whipped it round into a landing circuit with Jem yelling "nail it first time don't go round again", thankfully I did and all ended well Definitely not an experience I wish to repeat in this lifetime, hell I was lucky, took ages to regain a reasonable heart rate

Welcome to the wonderful world of sloping & the Great Orme, has it's own climate so it has, a proper moment was it, I bet the thumbs still wobbly.

Bleedin nightmare didn't think I was going to see it again, hard to believe how quickly the weather closed in

Magic! The disappearing Vector trick....

Did the exact same thing at the last PSSA meet earlier this year - only my old crunchie Hawk, but unfortunately by the time it did re-appear it was already fast - and vertical ....... crrrrruuuuunch.
It is currently being re-built - again.

My and tim had a bit of cat and mouse combat on the orme when visibility was 2m max, it was fun!
