I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Weston Park 2010
Arived home last night after 3 days of madness,
Arived Friday afternon to a load of rain which cleared up by about 6pm so out came the planes, Friday night i flew my Hunter and and the most bizare duo flight with the Cherub and a 88" Yak.
After much merryment we returned to the flightline about 12.30am to fly through 6 packs on a RC Factory Flash a Yak untill security had had enough at around 1.30am
Saturday came round far to soon and 9.30 saw the pilots breifing, by 10am the show had begun, some great models and great flying was going on dispite quite a stiff cross wind from the rear, Models of the show for me were Ali`s Futura Jet, TJD`s awsome P38 Lighning thats 1/3rd scale and electric!
12.30 saw my first flight of the show with the Hunter, this passed incident free and we even managed to get 6 of them flying in formation. Two more flights followed with some loaner models untill the big moment arived
3.20 'Cath the Bommer was rolled out. It had all been abit of a laff upto that point but when you wheel a model pased 200 hundred odd children filled with exitment the nerves kicked in, Myself and Paul (other bomer pilot) gave each other a knowing look (we beter not mess this up) five minuts later it was all over, everything went perfect and the target was hit

Re: Weston Park 2010
Saturday night saw the biggest BBQ session in Weston Park with Chris Martindale as head cheif, 3 hours of cooking saw everyone fed well while the evening "off the peg" flying was in full swing,
After a few burgers and one or two shandys it was Sayle time, earlier that day Andy had bought himself a Multiplex Micro jet and all the gubbins to assemble it, during the afternoon it was built, so the gaunlet was thrown, CAN YOU BUY, BUILD AND MAIDEN A MODEL IN ONE DAY!
YES YOU CAN!, after some wonderfull launches by me and some replacments props it was flying 10 mins later it was practicly dead lol
Flying continued long into the night and i belive we finished about 2am!
Sunday morning aprox 7am I was back in the air with the cherub! ready for another full day.
The afternoon saw me me break my duck by finaly hitting a Weston Park tree, sadley I have to report the Hunter is no more!, I went for the Ripmax turn round the trees at the far right of the flight line and the plane didnt re apear , For hours later and with the help of Sam Cox (who scaled the great oak tree) the bits were reclamed along with 2 Weston Magnums, a Funfighter and a couple of bits of a 250mph F5D Pylon racer!
Secound toffee drop passed without any trouble and 'Cath proved her worth!
5pm saw the show come to an end, some fantastic flying, spectacular models and great company, Weston has long been the best show of the year and this year was no differnt and the addition of the 3d Cup for murder death kill machines was a stroke of genious from Steve Bishop, everyone i spoke to thought it a great addition
Some vid and pics to come!
Roll on next year!
