I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Thursday flying?
Oh yes it looks like someone stole the clouds today.
I think it's flying time,I'll be going by dinner time after I finish a car off.
Anyone joining?
Danny.

Nuts.
If this weather doesn't last till tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to sulk good and proper. I'm stuck in work all day, but finishing early tomorrow afternoon, specifically to get some flying time in!
Roll on Sunday, when the weather shall hopfully be nice and warm, and I shall burn some kerosene.....

Zaidy, would be good to know the state of the strip ( grass length wise etc ) as JB and I have a photo shoot and maiden flight to do of a review model which requires nice short dry grass - and we were hoping to get it done tomorrow mid -morning, so please post here if you go later today today mate.

Pay more attention! Take 5 min to think about what you are doing and 5 steps back. Check your time and your day is over by then! Problem solved !

Re: Thursday flying?
Yep, a great afternoons flying once the wind dropped. Test flew my Cougar 2000 fitted with an ex helicopter Toki 40 and it flies a dream. So good in fact that it was then sold to a mystery phone bidder from Manchester. Hope you enjoy it Vaghn.
Lets hope the weather holds for the weekend.

Re: Thursday flying?
My little Combat is almost ready to go, just awaiting a replacement servo that is in the slow boat from Hong Kong. It looks marvellous in it's Rusky Winter Camo scheme, especially as it is an FW190.....
