I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I just found this picture from 1974.
I think his was taken on Wrights Field just of Dyserth road and was another of our flying sites, Brian may confirm this.
The same two dogs, by now almost in control and Jill is giving Lucy a good talking to. They were well used to model aircraft and would sit in the car with models on the seats and never touch them. The dogs were reguler visitors to Woodvale and all the model shows, they often attended the field when we went flying together with Brian Colclough and Brian Pierce, we all enjoyed those days very much indeed.
The model is a Gangster 63 with the same Merco 61.
