In a word Mark insulation the moist atmosphere is condensing on the underside of your metal roof, you've got to insulate it to stop the atmosphere coming in direct contact with the metal I have a problem! Icon_wink
P.S. Avoid parrafin heaters as they produce loads of moisture I have a problem! Icon_exclaim
Not good conditions for the old "black lead" syndrome I have a problem! Suspect

Like Brian says, insulation! How about using the insulation slabs used when building house walls (put in the cavity void). Use the ones with one side covered with metal foil. Construct a false ceiling and instal the slabs with the metal foil towards the metal roof, prefeably with a reasonable air gap. If the false ceiling is well enough sealed, to the walls and the room beneath, then it would be a good idea if the the air gap between the slabs and the metal roof was ventilated to the outside. Failing this sell up, imigrate to Australia - 'no worries mate!' cheers
