I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

PSSA at the Orme last weekend - pictures
OK so not strictly RDMFC media...but as I was participating ( My Red Arrows Hawk ) I am excused for linking to a non club event I think ! The link below marked ALBUM takes you to an album hosted by one of the participants and contains some truly excellent stills...
For those interested in video, there will (hopefully ) be some great footage from one of the few camera people who attended, and some lower quality stuff is already available on this thread over in the RCME forum HERE

I wouldn't grumble about hosting the pictures of a non RDMFC event, your a member & you participated, like we host pictures of the IMAC event's there not necessary a RDMFC event, glad you enjoyed it the weather for Sunday is favourable for the Orme.
Re: PSSA at the Orme last weekend - pictures

Tim,
I'd bet on it being the best weekend of the season up there & you are on WA duty

I don't think so I just sent an email to your wife telling her how much you prefer to stay at home with her rather than enjoying yourself with the lads on the Orme.

Good pictures there Tim, I like them, especially this one:

Anyone know what it is? It looks like it should be jet powered, and therefore has to be a good scale candidate for a little turbine

Yes, a Boulton Paul, with a very wide "mouth" - odd looking machine but it flew fine.
Heres the designer and builder Andy Conway ( makes the pilgrimage every year from Edinburgh to the Llandudno PSSA meets )

Ah haaaa! That looks perfect! Nice and pointy, a gaping mouth, and perfect for a turbine....
