I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I would be happy to come on Tuesday evenings if I could use this mod for the Vapor.See You Tube indoor flying Vapor slow flying Mod.
My brain could keep up with this pace.

Re: indoor flying tuesdays
Doesen't need it, the Vapour flies slowly enough without the hellium balloon to hold it up.

Re: indoor flying tuesdays
With our usual 6 Vapors in the air at once the ballon would have a very short life

Re: indoor flying tuesdays
You would be surprised how difficult it is to get a small balloon, full of hydrogen, to burn with any force....
Fill it up with a mixture of Hydrogen and Oxygen, and it is a whole different kettle of fish though
I could demonstrate in two ways. Method one, the dulll way, with a blackboard and coloured chalk. Method two, with several small balloons, a lighter and a hydrogen/oxygen source.....

Andy, thanks for the info,I don't understand why you need coloured chalk. When I was at school we used just White.
In case anybody thinks Im going to come to the Tuesday meeting and try this out,I would not do it indoor. That would be plain stupid.I shall try it at the field,in fact over the Corn Field.

I could make a joke about how blackboards have progressed like TV's now, everyone has colour these days, but that would be far too easy wouldn't it?
The corn field is now a ploughed field too. Perfectly safe for some high octane excitement

Vapor repairs
I guess many of you may have this link already, but if not, it details most of the repairs that are usually needed after a Llysfaen session.
