I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

I have been contacted by Griff Roberts who lives in Dyserth and is interested in starting up modelling after a long stop and is now retired. He purchased about 5+ years ago an ARF trainer model, engine and radio gear (in his loft when I called to see him, not seen and he couldn't remember the make's) but is asking if anyone in the club can help him stick it all together. If so he'll get it down from the loft. I just haven't the spare time with all my other commitments, so can anyone help him. I have his phone number for any interested member.

He's been down the field a couple of times this year and will join the club next year.

Griff's been in the loft and just received this...

It was good of you to call yestrerday. Much appreciated!

The information you requested is as follows:
The R/C equipment is labelled FUTABA DIGITAL PROPORTIONAL R/C ;FF7 SUPER FPT7 UPS.
The engine is an Irvine 40ABC.

Thanks again for being so helpful.

Ask him to come down the field on the weekend weather permitting I'm sure there would be someone there willing to assist

Like you said we all have commitments away from modelling aeroplanes, if the guy is attending the field during the week or when the weather is unsuitable there may not be anyone there, patience is required this sunday is suposed to be reasonable weather so I would expect members to be there.

Richard, looking at the weather forecast, saturday is looking like good lfying weather (next to no wind apparently, and no rain) so it might be a good time to get Griff to come down to the field then. Obviously there is no gaurantee just yet, but if the weather is good, I'll be there in the afternoon Smile
