I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Lucky escape today
Had a real lucky escape with my Ergo today, touched down at my feet and heard a ping, tried to lift off again and no go plenty of rpm but obviously not enough pitch. One of the pivot bolts on the head had come loose and got thrown out losing pitch on one blade altogether. Had I flown for another second or two chances are it would have been a bin bag job Just goes to show check your nuts regularly and your bolts for that matter
Re: Lucky escape today
That's all the excuse I needed Brian! And, just to make sure I don't miss anything, I'll get SWMBO to give them a good going over too!
Glad to got away with it lightly though
Cheers
