Last night was interesting! There was a bit of a low turnout, but to be exepcted given the strength of the wind! Never-the-less, we managed to witness a maiden of the .049 Delta Racer as designed, built and flown by Leigh, and assisted by the astounding launching power stored within Dave S! Despite the wind, it flew rather well. When it gets a decent prop, and some calmer weather, those things are going to be a right laugh!

I tried to maiden my little SU-26, but had to abandon all attempts when I relaised it wouldn't actually fly forwards into the wind, despite giving it full beans on the throttle!

I left the field wondering what we have to sacrifice to the weather Gods to get some decent weather on a Thursday afternoon/evening
