I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

Nice video, that old building is a real temptation to fly through , certainly not with fixed wing
It's a nice spot to fly up there & I have flown gliders many times. the only problem for fixed wing is finding a place to land.

Its a nice spot, a bit of a walk to get to but if you did send a glider up I am sure you would get good lift. The landing spots pathways on top of the pass are about the same as the orme. If you can walk a bit with a craft its a fantastic place to fly.
