I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Just a heads up, July's club night competition will be the infamous climb and glide comp, with a spot landing bonus available.

Any model type can take part, glider, power, funfly, helicopter, car, anything. Don't worry if you don't have a model that is considered good at gliding, the climb time allowed is only 30 seconds...

Just a reminder for This thursday guys. get your climb and glide models ready, anything can be entered, gliders, sport models, funfly, anything. It can be IC, Electric, Handlaunch, bungee launch or any other power that you care to use.

The only limit, is the maximum 30s motor burn...

The weather looks okay for tonight, perhaps not the best gliding conditions, but the spot landing should mean that we all compete on an equal footing!

I'll be there at about 6.30pm tonight, so I'll be looking to get started soon after.
