I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Jan 7th clubnight ?
Hi guys, I dont know whose decision it is as to whether tomorrow night's jamboree at the Castle goes ahead but conditions on the sideroads around Rhuddlan are abysmal to say the least. I can well imagine they're no worse than lots of other places, indeed probably better than some. There's been virtually no thaw worth talking of today and tomorrow's forecast temps look even worse. I had a lovely fall yesterday knocking myself out for around 30 -40 secs and have got an aching back to boot but managed to get out and de-snow the Astra today in case we need to travel at all, the Merc can stay put as it's low profile tyres are rubbish in the snow
Re: Jan 7th clubnight ?
Afternoon Brian,
We were going to wait and see what the roads are like tomorrow. Most of the main roads are fine now, wet and a bit slushy in places, but certainly passable. As you say, its the little roads that have suffered, so we'll see what it is like tomorrow lunchtime, and make a decision then
Cheers
Andy

Re: Jan 7th clubnight ?
I was wondering
Found main roads OK in Prestatyn and Rhyl this AM, minor roads still icy but thawing. All passable.
Elactronic Organ Concert at Kinmel Manor tonight still on.
If... Andrew Nix can make it from Selby in Yorkshire via M62 etc
If he doesn't arrive we don't have to pay him. If we cancel it we still have to pay him (terms of contract)
The football M/C united vs city cancelled to protect fans although pitches playable. (good news These matches reduce the attendance and takings at concerts)
Today
Housing estate roads in west Wirral all closed locally due to excessive snow. All merseyside buses cancelled.
Lots of snow in Glan Conwy area. A470 now flowing freely, side roads difficult.
So is anyone considering what happens about RDMFC meeting tomorrow.
Weather forecast looks OK except for being frosty and colder but no significant snow due this area for a few days
Sorry didn't realise Andy was posting just as I was.
My info still relevant
Will wait till tomorrow for the decision to be made

Not sure why. What's LMFHO ?
Nixie made it in 3 hours, 140 miles. Turn out crap, 29 instead of 59. Treasurer upset. Otherwise evening went OK.

Tim
They all left you to watch if I hit the pub wall exiting the upper car park, thankfully I didn't oblige.
