Of course, there is nothing to stop you getting there at 1pm

good laugh was had by everone, lots of illegal flying as well although I couldn't see who was flying at the time but I sure someone will have seen it.

Aye, I had fun with a few rocket launches, and a quick sortie with the big glider That's two thursday nights in a row that we have had fantastic weather too. Let's hope it continues!

Sorry for forgetting my MovingFilm camera too Tim. I left the house in a bit of a hurry (and a bit of shock that Jackie wanted to come too!). Let me know when the Hawk is next out on a Sortie, and I shall be there, even if I am on my bike! I'm free most days now

well at the moment, I plan on being there on Sunday for our open day and will have a few models with me - including the hawk.

Well not according to the newsletter - clearly states 7th June ??

Well thats bl***y great - I shall now spend the next hour or so contacting people to tell them to cancel their trip - and doubtless they will have already planned something else for the 14th.
How come the newsletter says the 7th - and where does it actually confirm that it is 14th ? Not doubting you mark...just curious as to how this mix up happened.

confirmed in the events section in 2 posts and also a note on the peg board at the feild, as to the news letter i cannot comment, only hope your guests can still make it

Fairysnuff - but I thought the newsletter was still the "official" means of communicating to the members, especially as we know there are still members who have no web access.
I have contacted several people already, and will await their replies - I have done this in the past for club events as you know - and even then a lot simply dont attend anyway for a variety of reasons

agreed ive done the same Tim as you know, this year im not planning on being there myslf anyway

What a superb evening Tested my electric Zagi (thanks both Barnes for the launch) and after the addition of 40% expo it flies great. As some have commented I am now hooked on fixed wing and must do some more heli flying before I forget how to

Pity about the cock up on the open day date as I have made alternative arrangments for the 14th whilst keeping the 7th free for the open day. Oh well next year maybee.

The fau pas on the date may be a blessing as the forecast for the weekend is far from favourable not a good thing to happen however

Perhaps more member's should take a look at the forum as the club wouldn't be able to contact all member to inform them of any changes

Aye, good point. It's gone a liiiiitle bit off topic, so I'll lock it for now, and sort it out when I get five min.
