I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Saturday 5th June
Morning all.
Anyone out flying this afternoon? I'm fancying a bit of thermally glider action looking at the temperature and humidity forecast for later

There is a modicum of thermally action though, even if it is only for a couple of seconds at the top of a climb!

Went down this morning for a couple of hours, accompanied by Zaid, Danny, and Alan. Prospective member Tom arrived with family as I was leaving....with another chopper, so I left the rotary brigade to it.

It's on the workbench now, due for resoldering tomorrow morning, Marty
Not such a successful trip to the field for me today. My funjet now has a completely removable nose, and a few bent bits, thanks to some classic ar$!ng around testing out the buddy lead! Broke another prop on the jibe too. Still, it was good fun

The Jibe 2 makes some awesome Hannibal Lecter type noises when the motor is cut during a high speed pass
