I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Red Arrows over RDMFC
John Bowman turned up to do the honours with the camera this morning. I only got back from holiday last night, but this morning the conditions were just too good to pass.
Maiden flight went very well, no drama, and my modded air retracts handled the grass pretty well with a good 3 pointer bang smack back on the strip 6 minutes after ROG.
Second flight ended prematurely when the motor shut down prematurely...suspect the slightly inferior ( flightpower 3200 6s 25C !! ) battery kicked in the LVC early. Gear up again sharpish, and belly landed with no damage at all into the long grass. I love it!!
Hopefully be back up Thursday night.
Thanks John, look forward to the rest of 'em later on.
Hmmm, dunno why the pictures have all been cropped off when inserted into the forum - the originals are all fine - I assure you that JB has not lost his touch
